Ms. Welcome is the President/Clinical Director, She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Board Certified Telehealth provider, Approved Clinical Supervisor for newly licensed associate counselors, . Ms. Welcome is trained in using the Enneagram in counseling. She provides counseling and education to individuals, marriage counseling, groups, and on online.
Ms. Winfrey is a Licensed Social Worker, Lcensed Drug and Alcohol counselor. She is a graduate of Rutgers University and New Brunswick Theological Seminary. Ms. Winfrey provides supervision as a Certified Clinical Supervisor. Specializes in addictions, mood disorders (depression, anxiety, etc.) and building strong relationships. She provides counseling to individuals and couples.
Ms. Jean-Pierre is a NJ Licensed Professional Counselor. She is trained in individual, couples and family therapy. Ms. Jean-Pierre facilitates workshops on various topics.
Ms. Torres is a Licensed Social Worker. As a Christian she is trained as an trauma and uses techniques from yoga to facilitate healing. Specializes in working with families and adults. She enhances her clinical treatment with breathing techniques, gentle movement, and meditation to reduce stress and depression. Ms. Torres facilitates groups on mindful living.
Ms. Hardy is a Licensed Associate Counselor. She works with adolescents and adults using a person centered approach and also incorporates CBT and solution focused techniques to meet the client’s specific needs. She also works with couples and families from a systems perspective to help them tackle the presenting problem and build communication, problem solving and coping skills for the future. She specializes in anxiety, depression, low self-esteem/self-worth, family conflict and career readiness.
Ms. Smart is a Certified Life Coach and Intake Specialist. Ms. Smart help clients make progress in all areas of their lives; relationships, health, career, life balance, spirituality, finances. She is able to coach people through life
transitions, help them discover their life purpose, find meaning and fulfillment in life, and support them as they change or enhance their career. As an intake specialist Ms. Smart speak directly with clients and their families, determining their needs, their medical history, physical and mental state and special requirements.
We are now accepting interns from Christian counseling colleges/universities only.
Interns are closely supervised by senior CWCNJ therapists. They meet with supervisors for several hours each week to discuss their work and to review recordings of their sessions. CWCNJ believes clients receive the best treatment for. Their interns when their sessions are recorded and viewed in supervision. Interns discuss this option with all their clients, who can opt out if they choose. Recordings are treated with the utmost care, protected as required by the law, and deleted following g review in supervision.
