Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.

Relationships

Counseling takes place when a counselor sees an individual in a private and confidential setting.

Christian Counseling

Christian Counseling and secular counseling share the same desire to help people overcome their problems and find meaning and joy in their life.  The distinction between the two is that Christian Counseling incorporates faith and biblical prinicples.

Self-Care for Women of Color

Women come together monthly and are deliberate in efforts to take care of ourselves  mental, spiritual, and physical well-being.

Self Care should be practiced daily and so we will learn ways to develop habits of care.  We will consider simple daily practices we can incorporate to be in love with our mind, body and spirit.
We will also explore blockages in our thinking and believing which hinder our practices.

If life feels overwhelming, unpredictable and difficult an exploration of self might be the key to improved mood and reduced anxiety.

Sessions consist of meditation, chair yoga, journal writing and discussion. Space is limited to 10 people.
