Let's carry on the incredible legacy of Ernestine Winfrey, a beacon of hope who dreamt of making counseling accessible to all, especially those who find it beyond their reach. Her vision was clear: life's journey is easier with support, and she wanted to ensure no one had to walk their path alone.
Since throwing open our doors in 2020 as the Ernestine Winfrey Community and Counseling Center, we've embraced over 550 individuals, couples, and families with open arms – all without the safety net of insurance. Our dedication hasn't wavered, and we're constantly seeking to expand our family by teaming up with Colleges and Universities. These partnerships help us welcome bright, eager interns ready to lend a hand and gain invaluable experience in their final year of study, all while providing much-needed services to those in need.
In 2022, we proudly evolved from the Ernestine Winfrey Foundation to something more: a community and counseling center that truly reflects our mission to serve. This change wasn't just in name but a testament to our commitment to making a real difference in the community.
Join us in this heartfelt journey. Together, we can continue to light the way for those in need, honoring Ernestine Winfrey's legacy and ensuring that her dream lives on.
Thank you for believing in our cause.
Now, we're reaching out to you. Your support and contributions are the lifeblood that allows us to continue Ernestine's mission – a mission more crucial now than ever. Whether it's supporting the unemployed or those on Medicaid, every generous donation you make fuels our ability to offer help and hope.
